Protein Donut Recipe
BOOST MAX™ Women or BOOST MAX™ Men, Very Vanilla
all purpose flour
baking powder
baking soda
plain Greek yogurt, low fat (donut batter)
butter, melted
egg
vanilla extract
almond extract
cooking spray
plain Greek yogurt, low fat (frosting)
honey
chia seeds
pumpkin seeds
Preheat the oven to 350F. Generously grease a 6-count donut pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
In a medium bowl, whisk together BOOST MAX™ Very Vanilla, Greek yogurt, egg, melted butter, vanilla, and almond extract.
Add wet ingredients into the dry, stirring until just combined.
Transfer the batter into a piping bag, or plastic bag. Pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling it ¾ full.
Bake for 14-16 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan before removing.
Make the frosting: combine greek yogurt and honey. Spread onto cooled donuts. Sprinkle chia and pumpkin seeds.
