Protein Donut Recipe

Ingredients

½ cup

BOOST MAX™ Women or BOOST MAX™ Men, Very Vanilla 

1 cup

all purpose flour 

1 tsp

baking powder

¼ tsp

baking soda 

3 tbsp

plain Greek yogurt, low fat (donut batter)

2 tbsp

butter, melted 

1 large

egg

1 tsp

vanilla extract 

½ tsp

almond extract

cooking spray 

⅓ cup

plain Greek yogurt, low fat (frosting)

2 tbsp

honey 

2 tbsp

chia seeds 

2 tbsp

pumpkin seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Generously grease a 6-count donut pan with cooking spray. 

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda. 

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together BOOST MAX™ Very Vanilla, Greek yogurt, egg, melted butter, vanilla, and almond extract. 

  1. Add wet ingredients into the dry, stirring until just combined. 

  1. Transfer the batter into a piping bag, or plastic bag. Pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling it ¾ full. 

  1. Bake for 14-16  minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan before removing. 

  1. Make the frosting: combine greek yogurt and honey. Spread onto cooled donuts. Sprinkle chia and pumpkin seeds.
